REGISTRATION & TUITION POLICY
Tuition for Academic Enrichment is an annual tuition calculated by the number of sessions in the calendar year.
Tuition is prorated for students beginning after the start of the year.
EARLY BIRD TUITION DISCOUNT
A 5% tuition discount is offered on annual tuition if paid in full by 9-16-2023.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
1. Tuition may be paid in 7 equal monthly installments, September 1st 2023 -March 1st 2024
Please Note: Monthly payments are equivalent payments that do not reflect the number of lessons in a particular month.
REFUND POLICY
Tuition is refundable in case of early withdrawal. Withdrawal must be done in writing by mail or e-mail, and will not be accepted over the phone. One month notice must be given. There are no refunds for withdrawals occurring in the months of May and June, with the exception of families moving out of town.
MISSED LESSONS
Group Lessons - There is no refund for missed lessons for any reason. There are no adjustments made for both unexpected (e.g. illness) and planned absences, such as vacations, birthday parties, or any other conflicts.
- All classwork is posted on the Class's Google Doc. Students should check the Doc for work.
- Private & Semi-Private Lessons
No refund or adjustments for missed lessons. Two lessons per year may be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
Teacher Absence
If a lesson is cancelled, a make-up lesson will be offered, or parents may choose a credit for the session. - Notification of class cancellation will be made via email notification.
- Lessons Missed due to Snow Days
Write Academy will follow the Livingston Public School snow cancellation policy. Cancellation notices will be sent by email. If the lessons are canceled due to inclement weather, the first snow day of each course will not be made up. If the second snow day occurs on the same day of the week, a make-up session will be arranged at the end of the term. - Please call 862-264-9785 for all emergency information.
BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
The Write Academy is dedicated to nurturing mind and character. Students may expect to be treated with respect, dignity and caring. Students are expected to demonstrate age-appropriate behavior to fellow students and to instructors, at all times. If the determination is made that a child is unable to meet behavioral expectations, enrollment will be terminated and tuition for the remaining year will be refunded. All decisions are made at the sole discretion of the Write Academy Director.
